Fta(9E/13E/19E/28E) [Fixed Triax TD88]
1.1M motorised satellite dish [unbranded]
My Location

Ever since I got my new receiver,a Technisat Technibox UHD S
I have no sound on Al Kawthar on 13E
I have played around with the sound settings but to no avail
It is outputting as AAC,with no other audio option
Is anyone experiencing this problem,or is it an issue with my receiver
Would be grateful for some output
Thanks

Hi
My DR HD F15 receiver can sometimes be picky about audio on certain channels - on rare occasions ..
But i can report that the audio on Al Kawthar and the other channels on this transponder is ok for me - with the exception of 3 channels ...Irib Quran .. Irib Nasim.. and .. Ifilm .. ....... In audio option they are shown as Persian - HE- AAC and will not work for me on this receiver.

edit -
None of the radio channels work for me either - l.o.l. .. they are - also labeled HE- AAC

And just because it was bugging me .. i scanned the 10775 transponder with a different receiver ...
Octagon SX88+ Optima.
And all audio on all - TV - and - radio channels .... is working just fine on this box :cool:
Regards.

There's a few of the French multi stream channels on 5 west with an AAC audio channel that the Edision Primio is silent on. Don't know if the audio is actually silent or whether it's the Primo playing up. Luckily the English audio channels seem to work.

@nelson_b and ozumo
Thanks guys
Will contact Technisat support to see if they have any solution.

At 10775 MHz? I have no sound problem here.

Yes
Thanks,must be the receiver
Did you try to scan the transponder anew?
According to kingofsat, there has been a change in specs recently.

No,will give it a try and report back
Thanks again

Sound is there on all my receivers including the sometimes troublesome Primo, which identifies it as MPEG1 :)

@a33
Fantastic,a rescan worked,now have audio simply labelled as Audio 1
The receiver indicates it as MPEG1 L2 now
Thanks everyone
