My wife and I are both quite heavily into ski racing and after getting somewhat brassed off with the EuroSport coverage we want to be able to watch decent coverage.

We' ve just come back from a holiday in Austria where (as you might expect) the coverage was excellent.

Our current 19.2E Astra 1 system is only FTA. ORF1 and 2 are encrypted/scrambled (Nagravision I think) and so we can't receive them.

The receiver we have is a Technomate TM1000D and will only show FTA channels - it has no card slots or anything like that so I'm well aware I'll need to upgrade the receiver - for that I'm looking at the Technomate TM5400Ci+.

Does anybody know how do I go about being able to view the channels and what else apart from a new receiver I'll need?

Cheers

Razor

Hello!
orf is in prozess to changing all cards!
in a couple of month, orf will stop working on all emu receivers!

the new cryptworks cards are tunneled cards, with irdeto 2 and cryptowrorks id
orf using also videogurard, where you can subribe on premiere card!
currencly a diablo cam,is enough,to watch orf,on any receiver with ci slot, but time is running out, then you need oficial card!

Thanks Turok ;)

I can easily get an official ORF card on ebay.at - but in order to be able to use it I need to have an Austrian address and whilst we do plan on moving to Austria due to the current economic climate that isn't going to happen any day soon.

There must be a way... :confused
