auto update, what's best for things like tps?

Hi, tomorrow i should receive my wireless ethernet bridge so i can do auto updates for channels from the internet.

I know various updaters are available such as satan autoupdate and florikey tps updater but which ones are the best to use that update the keys most often?

Also i read in another thread that if you use one updater the other one will wipe the key file which makes sense but which one will update everything frequently?

Another thing i want to ask is this, i have Cccam 2.04, MGcamD 1.26, Evocam 1.27 and Cam3 and satan autokey updater on my dreambox 500-s and i'm currently using 87% of the var directory.

I know auto updaters won't take much room up but why is it i read that some key's are meant to unlock certain dodgy channels but when i go to the channel's to check it's decrypted it the screen stays black. The channels i'm on about are the sexview channels on 13 east because a mate asked about them, is this part of TPS or something and i need to keep updating it every 2 minutes?
It shows a valid key on viaacess using MGcamd but the channel stays black and i get nothin at all with evo or cam3. I've managed to get polesat on 13 east though so if i need to do anything special like wait on france 4 or 5 can somebody explain.

Do you need all of those emus? You're at the limit where a 500 will start to struggle.

The other part of decrypting a channel is the RSA key; you need keys and the RSA key to watch a channel (that's from memory so don't quote me on it). Sometimes the keys are known but the RSA isn't.

what's RSA stand for dude? is that a type of rom i need? or is this what the 00 and 01 is about in key files?

And i only installed all them emu's because satfreaks used to clear MTV and VH1 on 19.2 with evocam, i use Cccam for the FTV card and MGcam because i like it, as for cam3 i'm not sure why i have that, maybe as a backup incase keys arnt avaialable for other emus

I'd delete camd3 then (easily installed again if you need it).

I'm not a key/ encryption expert so search may get you a better answer on that. The RSA key is a bloody long number- look at softcam.key

ok thanks, i did do some research on it and turns out its some 128 bit key, i assume what i need to do is open up softcam.key and edit the rsa key for hotbird to a more up to date one, am i right?

If it's known then it'll be included in the latest keyfiles that you download.

that's what i thought but the channels stay black even though it's found a valid viaacess key for it, i waited on france4 and uncleared tps and then i tried and stayed black, only seems to say its decrypted with mgcamd but stays black anyways.

I'm not sure whats going on or if i need to do anything special but hey.

p.s. Do you recon the satan autoupdater is the best auto updater to use what's out at the minute then?

Most people on the forum rate Florikey updater.

well i have florikey on my laptop and i have satan and tps auto updaters on the DB, i did a search for florikey auto updater and didn't bring up much luck. even IHAD didn't have it, and neither did any sites in the usual places gude. well not from what i could find, but i did get a few extra links ;). I stumbled accross another auto updater which i forget the name of as to download i needed to sign up, it got updated yesterday. As soon as i get info i'll let people know but any ideas where i can get the auto updater for flori? or did you mean the actual 4.4 beta program?
