AVI playback through DM800 ?

Hallo people

I finally managed to mount my network drive and it has a bunch of AVI files on it...encoded with divX i think...

I have a media player plugin on NabiloBH 12 but I can't seem to find a way of playing the files? Is there a specific way to do this?
 
having tried without success, dm800 doesn't have the processing power to play divx avi files
i even tried with media player, all that it did was crash the box

all it could get it to play is mpeg2 files (like dvd 's) and mkv files (i'm guessing mpeg4 for which it has dedicated decoding hardware)
