I received my first Dreambox (DM8000) 4 weeks ago.
My problem is that I have some very annoying white pixels on the picture. It's not the same on all ch/sat, but worst on SD channels. Picture is almost perfect in HD channels and seams to be better on 28deg than on 1 deg (Thor) which is my primary Sat. It is also depending on the quality of the transmission. F.ex. I was watching the woman handball from China, and is was almost as it was raining on the blue floor. Otherwise it's like it is following the shape of f.ex. a face or where bright and dark background is meeting.
Wonder if anyone know of this problem? I have tried to adjust the settings in A/V like sharpness and upscaler, but nothing helps. I have also tried to adjust the TV (Sharp 46" LCD) but just the same.
Could it be a hardware or software fault? I have also a T-tuner in and the pixels are also on the terrestrial channels. Have tried a Scart cable instead of DVI/HDMI but the same here.
I have 3 other older receivers but there I can not see anything of these annoying pixels.
Any help would be much appreciated
Regards
