Hi, i have recently purchased a bush freesat hd box, fixed the dish up on the wall, had it tweaked by an engineer to be told i have 89% signal reception,
Tuned the box in plugged the hdmi lead and straight to bbc hd, picture is terrible!!!
the picture has a line across the screen 2/3s of the way up the screen also it has lines 2 inch apart going from side to side in the background.
I took the box back and installed the new one with the same results.
Tele is fine has i watch films thru my ps3 and they are clear,
Can anyone explain? I have unplugged dvd, ps3, cable box, to see if they were conflicting but still the same, also the hdmi lead makes no difference plugged in or not, but the lead works on my ps3?
Any advice would be grateful, thanks.

What's the picture like when connected with the Scart lead?

it's not the answer but have you tried it with rf and scart yet?

Hi alan,
You are talking to a novice, sorry what is the rf?
I have tried the hdmi lead and the scart together, which makes no difference, all channels are the same with ghosting interference lines in the background.

sorry, just meant the co-ax cable, but i'm not certain it will help as you obviously can't test the HD signal with co-ax, but if the problem is there on the standard channels aswell you can try it on them, like i say, i not sure if it will help but it's worth ago.
