Hi divibi,

What u suggested doesn't work! the normal dish size for multichoice looks like 80 cm, while my ku lnb is on a 180 cm prime focus. Even with that size, I cant pickup any small signal.

Good afternoon Bostephen,

You can try out badr 6 Ku band which has its foot print in uganda and i think you can receive the satellite with a 180 prime focus dish. please visit this site

The is a guy in uganda receiving nilesat 101 and 102 plus atlantic bird 4a by the name of Bweyos. On this site you shall get members from east africa who would be of help.

Thax kungu for yr post, these guyz have alot of staff. But some of them talk about "industrial/commercial" sizes of 8 to 12 feet dishes. It is worth trying but I must be careful before my wife skins me for buying that size. LOL. i probaly will have to get an installer bcoz I've tried it on my own without success. If u have any idea of available tools in Uganda/Kenya, let me know. God bless!
 
Hi members,
A lot has happened since we were here talking about "my plight". However, I now watch Nilesat 201 and Ew4 both co-located at 7 degrees west. Nilesat 101 and 102 were indeed very far and it was only those with large dishes who could get them.
