Chucking it down here at the moment, which is good for the frogs that were shagging/spawning in a dwindling pond last week.

I managed to strap the Cband LNB to the 1.8m late last night (simple cable-tie affair) and will start playing round later today.

We got snow here on Teesside lol

We have wet ground so no worry of it laying just yet

It's laying a little bit on t'grass, but the roads are just sodden.

Just rain here but sleet was forecast.

Snowed quite heavily for three quarters of an hour here, but too warm to settle.

Raining on and off here but very cold and damp outside

Strong North Westerly gales here, with heavy, squally rain showers. I've turned the motorised dish to 30°W (edge on), though the house shelters it a lot. Temperature has probably dropped about 6°C from yesterday but no sign of snow thank goodness!!!

Sleeted here this morning - and theres snow lying on various of the hill tops around us. :(

I was supposed to be prepping my car for its MoT today, but first the rain, then a layer of slushy snow on the windscreen put paid to that!

Snow now melted and persisting down with rain again now.

Sploosh.

Just took my mum to Fleetwood for a trip out and a bite of lunch, what a beautifully sunny day however the wind is so cold it feels like it would cut through you like a knife

Ive had my office window open this afternoon - with the sun shining on that side of the building it was beautifully warm for a couple of hours. Then when the sun went in it went flippin parky!

Been prepping my Car for its MoT today, plus "valeting" it etc. Spent about four hours out in glorious weather.

fairly strong N > NWesterly winds blowning here at the moment ...
cold enough for a hardy Yorkshireman to require a thin pully over his T shirt ..
Driving hailstones ...racing up the street past the shop window....and yet the sun is still shining through peepholes in the cloud ..

Too cold to 'play out' with my dish atm ..and I want to get back to the petal extension experiments ..
doh!

No, no pullover ............. even had to take off the T-Shirt owing to the exertion of removing my Car's road wheels to check Brakes etc prior to MoT tomorrow. Got wet, mind you.

Massive cloudburst here right now .............. the most rain we've had for months, it seems.

Record-breaking temperatures in Scotland.

25/03/2012 Today was a very warm day across much of the UK. Provisional figures show that the highest temperature of 22.8 C was recorded at Fyvie Castle in Aberdeenshire, making this the warmest March day on record for Scotland.

With record warmth and spring now having arrived it must be time for the summer weather chat thread now :D

Hear hear....has been in low to mid 20's pretty much all day. Seems like time to dust off the barbie.....

That, young Sir, is tempting fate.

I asked SWMBO if I should dig the Garden Parasol out of the shed this afternoon and was reminded that such derring-do normally induces gales and torrential rain.
