bbc, c4, itv

Go to http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html , that will provide you with all of the frequencies for BBC channels. Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5 require a Sky digibox and viewing card.

don't they need a card with an england address?

Yes, sorry, didn't qualify that. :)

Just to be picky, a UK address, us nice Scots, Welsh and Northern Irelanders don’t like to be forgotten. :)

Sorry mate,I didn't know if to say british,or uk .I've been away for too long.excuse my ignorance, but is Ireland part of the UK or Great Britain or what?

It’s the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so from that England, Scotland and Wales are in Great Britain and N. Ireland joins to make up the UK. But (some!) people from N. Ireland call themselves British (rather than United Kingdomish I suppose) so that also confuses it also. Southern Ireland as in the Republic of Ireland is completely separate from it all.

I hope that is all correct.

you can also get a sky card if you live here in Holland. But they are very expensive still best to use the english/british address, and then have it sent over.

looks okay to me

They're not listed explicitly. You'll need a Sly digibox to view them, and the settings will be pre-programmed into that. If you simlpy won't sleep 'till you know, search the data out of the linked Satco DX file (edit the link yourself). You will see that there are regional variations of ITV, just like the BBC channels.

Hi Polo, next time you visit Estepona nip down the road 20 miles or so and there you will find lots of people who speak English with a Spanish accent who would get very upset if you implied that they were NOT British. The Gibraltarians, of course. It´s a funny subject.
