Originally posted by devonbrown I also have all BBC channels in Estepona on the Costa del Sol. So do about 10 of my friends. all have panasonics and 1.2 meter dishes but none will go on their roofs to find the make of LNB.
there is a side-lobe of 2d in the cost del sol basically meaning you get a much higher signal in your area . very similar in strength if you lived in northern france or northern europe, so think yourself lucky you live there..
i dont think there is anywhere else in spain that has one. stockholm in sweden and oslo, norway are two others.
I have a 1.2 m dish also with an amstrad DRX300 receiver and a free bbc card. I wonder if the head of the BBC has a villa here ? We should consider ourselves very lucky, but how long do you think it will last ?

Side lobes, surely thats what Elvis Presley had,or has,Because i have seen him on the paseo at Los Boliches, but to get to the point! Alan Sugar (Amstrad) has a villa on the costa del sol,I know because the person that installed his sky dishes bought them from me........I believe he uses a panasonic dsb30!!...brian
