Hi -
Having bought a Humax HD box six months ago, I was really looking forward to checking out the BBC HD channel when I finally took the plunge and bought a big LG plasma TV.
But it's odd! When I select the HD channel, for between nine and 14 seconds, I get a perfect HD picture... and then the picture does a small 'jump' down and to the left, and appears covered with a kind of patterning - a bit like looking at it through a net curtain. Changing to BBC normal gets a better picture. Then, if I switch back again, exactly the same - around 10 secs of perfect HD, then the fuzzy look.
I have contacted the BBC (we're not interested - we can't reply to e-mails - it must be your TV) and LG (if it only happens on one channel, it must be the Humax box) and Humax (no reply as yet!)
Has anyone come across the same problem, or have any suggestion as to what might be causing it/how to cure it??
Cheers - and a Happy New Year to all!
