Maybe you're right. They can have it back next week if I can get a box for it.

I'll give the PC World chap a go if I can get hold of him

I got fed up with it and got in touch with Wizard Satellte, the retailer. I spoke to Paul, returned the receiver, they put in the software and returned it next day. Good service there.
They told me in Maplins that I was buying the correct cable to do the data transfer. I should have checked further.
Anyway, BBC HD in all it's glory and better picture and sound all round. Thanks for your help.
