Hello

We have freesat (fortec star) and an HD ready TV. However, when tuning into BBC HD we have a black screen only. Do I need special cables? Any help appreciated!

Ah, that might be it... It's a Fortec Star FS 4200. I'm not sure if it's HD! Possibly not. Can you buy a new box without installing a new satellite dish?
 
No , your receiver it's not hd . Just get a hd satellite receiver and it should work without altering your setup .
