BBC Prime move from Hotbird to Eurobird

My Satellite Setup
Atom 9000 digital multi satellite
Win XP
My Location
Paros, Greece
I need some help please.
Have been trying to re-position my Atom 9000 satellite, the details are - Eurobird 9 @ 9E, frequency 11996, symbol rate 27500, FEC 3/4, polarization vertical, modulation QPSK.
Via the usals antenna positioning I set my latitude to 37.02, longitude to 25.15, and then moved the dish to 9 degrees E with all the details (apart from modulation which I could not find) to the above.
Then, after thinking what an ace I was as I've never done this before, tried a channel search to find BBC Prime. Nothing at all!!
Can anyone give me any clues as to where I am going wrong?
 
Starting with the lnb aligned onto 13E, wou will need to move the dish alignment about the width of thelnb head to the left as you are facing the dish. Raise the dish a fraction ( a couple of mm will be fine)

You cant miss Eurobird 9A - shes chucking out a huge amount of power. You want the channels listed here:

Thanks for your answer, but I'm afraid I don't understand. I am not physically moving the dish as it's on the roof, just using the remote controller for the Atom box.
Could you explain in very simple terms please as I'm new to all this.
 
In simple terms unless you have a motorised dish your dish will only receive signals from one satellite, to receive a different satellite you must rotate the dish as described

Your dish is aligned onto Hotbird 13E. You need to pick up Eurobird 9A at the adjacent orbital slot.

You can either physically slew the dish from 13E to 9E, or fit a dual head "monobloc" lnb on the dish which will give you both 13E and 9E.
 
As I'm having no luck with this problem I've decided to call in an engineer to align the dish for me. It is motorised but I'm still not able to receive Eurobird at 9E, which is the only one I want.

Update on the previous situation...I found out that the dish was not in fact motorised. The engineer installed a new 1 metre dish and has positioned it to receive Eurobird 9. All fine with loads of mainly useless channels, but absolutely nothing on the frequency of 11996 for Beeb. 'O'-red
Any clues anyone please?
Having paid over £200 for nothing I am not amused.
 
Can you see B4U Movies ME which is a free channel on 11996H?
 
No, although it did appear on frequency 12476, with 'no or bad signal'.
I found Prime on 11488 but it asks for a password which I've never needed before.
 
What, you paid him before it worked? Also you shouldn't need a 1 metre dish for that satellite. A 60cm should work fine.
