Hi,

Has anyone in southern Sweden experienced problems receiving BBC1 / BBC2 over the past two weeks?

The signal strength / quality seems to have dipped and realigning the dish, changing the LNB etc etc hasn't worked.

Wimbledon is coming so all suggestions are welcome!

The interactive content should be viewable for you with a FTA receiver,(ie.NOT with a Sky digibox),as they come from Astra 2A.Dont know the frequency off the top of my head though.

We're approaching the worst time of year for Astra 2D reception.
Some aspects of seasonal changes are explained quite well here
The diagram represents the annual change in efficiency of the spacecraft.
The two spikes in spring and autumn are when eclipse protection comes into effect.

The graph the snap has posted confirms what we have always known from experience - that this is the worst time of year. It's when that LNB that has been getting weaker all winter finally shows its age and needs replacing yesterday!

I probably replace more LNBs in June and July (when it's hottest!) than in the rest of the year combined.
