Best channel for entitlement updates (Sky)

My entitlements are slowly running out, had my box turned to Sky News over night, but no update.

Had it on CCcam 2.2.1, now am using Oscam AU is set on and I am only blocking general and unknown EMMs.

What is the best channel to set my receiver to, to get updates? Maybe Sky News HD?

To my knowledge, EMMs are the same on every channel.
However, there's a little catch with oscam: while CCcam also processes EMMs from unencrypted channels, oscam will only update while it is decrypting the channel at the same time, so you won't have any luck trying to update from Sky News.
Use Sky One instead of Sky News and allow two full days for the update to get through.
 
That's interesting prenz. I wasn't aware of that with Oscam, thanks. With my Sky Freesat card I've been leaving it in my DM8000 on an unencrypted channel for a few days with no updates! I'll try Ch5 USA and see if that does the job.
