Technomate 1000D
80 cm motorised dish
dreambox 500s
My Location
Birmingham
Just wondering what image does everyone use on their 500s?
I'm currently using PLI release 1.9, I'm thinking about changing does anyone have any suggestions on what would be a good one to change to?
Also are there any major differneces between images?

Gemini is popular but I think they're all built on the same base Enigma image so all that will be different is the user interface.

But if you have a clone PLi or Nabilo or Barry Allen might be a better bet (I've tried none of them).
 
Yes, gemini is a good program even if they did a kill for all cloned boxes.

That is sorted now so I think they are safe to test.

As suggested by mhku Barry Allen is a nice program

It´s easier to find plug-ins if You use Gemini but I think they all work fine
 
One of the good things with Pli is that it is very good at streaming over LAN to your PC / Mac - I haven't found another image that can do this without stuttering (even using Tuxview etc etc).
