Hi All. I want to purchase a quad LNB to run with my freesat foxsat set and have found that there is a wide ranging difference in Quad LNB prices, I've seen prices from £6 to £50, why is there such a difference and is there a significant difference in quality on the more expensive LNB,s and what if any would members recommend. thanks

Probably depends a bit on whether you are using a S_y minidish or not. because they are so common there is high demand and they are produced down to a price. Nothing wrong with that if it performs where you live. The more expensive ones often are optimised for the taller offset dishes (as opposed to the S_y wider shape) and probably are of better quality but unless you are hunting weak signals or have a motorised dish then you probably will see no benefit for the extra beer tokens

If you are using a Sky Toydish, then spending more than five or sick squid from Fleabay is all you need.

Thanks for that guys, Ive got a sky dish up and Ive just fitted a cheapo quad LNB as you all suggested and its workin fine with 3 different freesat boxes (sky...Comag...Foxsat) connected and running at same time...Brill Thanks

Why spend more? :D
