i have been away from Sats fer a while so out of touch..can someone recommend best lnb(universal) please?

FWIW, the Twin version of the Iverto Black Ultra is reputedly somewhat "better" than the Single version - my Twin seems to work quite well but I haven't tried the Single.

I've found the opposite with mine, in this order:
Twin > Single > Quad
