Having disconnected my Sky+ box and replaced it with a new Now TV smart box (with DTT) I find there is a large amount of overlap with the FTA channels from 28.2E on my Vu+Duo2. I was wondering if it would be profitable to re-align the LNB at 28.2E to something else. If so what are the options ?. The Vu+Duo2 is fed from a Force Frontier T90 dish with 8 lnbs, each with outputs to 2 Emp-Centauri 8-port diseqc switches. The current set of lnbs point to 28.2, 23.5, 19.2, 16, 13, 9, 4.8E and 5W. If I were to re-use the 28.2E lnb elsewhere where would you folks recommend pointing it ? .Thank you.

Depends upon your interests, I suppose, but of the major Birds perhaps 1W.

Or, for a worthwhile curiosity, 3.1E might be worth a go.

Well you've already got the main satellites covered so surely there is still a fair amount to be interested in on 28E that you can't get from Freeview compared with some of the other more obscure satellites?

Thanks for the responses. 3.1E looks interesting. I don't know about 42E - the span to 5W might be too much for a T90 dish.
I'm not certain about 1W because it's all subscription channels and I recall the professional installer who set up the original 4 lnb config about 10 years ago having difficulty pulling in 1W - the dish isn't quite big enough for some transponders. Maybe I do need to stick with what I've got as timo_w2s says and wait for more freesat channels to become available.

Not just interests, if you understand language other than Staffie, (or maybe one of your family of they have foreign ties), then pick a satellite that panders for their programme content.
