Best way to get my channel distributed over multiple platforms

Hi Guys,
I'm Jeff, Owner of a media company in California. I have great content and am in the process of acquiring an over the air channel in Los angeles. This channel is not a must carry for cable companies so I am looking for a way to get it to as many people as possible in America, Ireland and the rest of the UK. Someone mentioned a free ARQIVA start-up package but I have been unable to reach them or find the aforementioned package. Does anyone have ideas on increasing visibility on a very limited budget? Thank you for your help.
 
How limited is limited? Whilst carriage cost details are confidential forum chat in the past reckons you need around £250,000/year just for the satellite carriage costs here in Europe.

Then theres the cost to bounce the channel over from your side of the pond to Europe, possibly via fibre cables, epg costs for Sky & or Freesat programming costs if you dont have anything self produced etc etc.

Try talking to Information TV - they help small companies get on air - they can rent you airtime on an existing channel to see if your programming works here in Europe.

Please do your research carefully - most new startups crash and burn here in the UK - some of the worst channels have lasted less than 2 months!

You may have Arqiva mixed up with the SSVC, as both are based at the same address in Chalfont St Peters

I recall another request a few months back from them, but my contact list is almost a decade out of date, though I still have a beer or two with them as and when the opportunity (or festival) arises.

hello, how about streaming from the usa.
using h264 it would be iptv system.
i have been watching a sling box feed from the usa and it looks good.
you could not use sling box because its point a to b and one user but multy users on a profesional streamer is possible.
it may be a cheeper way to go.
