Better LNB for Gibertini OP125L

Hi,

I am on the coats of southern Spain between Cadiz and Gibraltar.

I have a Gibertini OP125L dish with a Smart Titanium quad LNB feeding a Sky+ receiver.
I wondered if it was worth changing to a better LNB or would the difference not be great enough to warrant changing it?

Certainly for the price of an LNB it is worth trying, but if you think it will suddenly make invisible chanels visible then you should budget for changing up a size of dish.

LNB upgrades normally help with reducing pixellation on weaker channels, or a slight improvement in cloudy conditions, but not much else.
 
You hit the nail on the head, not more channels just better reception of the weaker ones I get (like ITV1 Granada)

What would be a better LNB to try? I've heard of Invacom quads being classed as good for fringe but i don't know:

Is it better that what I already have?
What is the model number?
Is that the best one for a Gibertinin OP125L?

Or are there any other LNB's I should be looking at?
 
For fringe reception the inverto black ultra seems to be preferred Lnb and I personally use this on the same dish pulling in an extra 7% on fringe channels weather permitting.

Yes, I've found the Inverto Black Ultra beats the Smart Titanium by a few percent, so might be worth a go.

Changing the LNB will be a complete waste of time. The problem you have is strong signals on 26E (10759 V 27500 3/4 interferes with ITV1 Granada), that wipe out transponders on 2D. All you can do is fit a bigger dish to filter them off.
