Better switch or LNB?

80 cm dish, 2 x TM1, 2 x Inverto Green LNB
My Location
London
I found a beat-up Sky zone 1 dish + Zinwell J4LS Quad LNB on a street corner and thought I would rescue it, and mount it so I could feed to a receiver in the shed/office at the bottom of the garden.

Mostly, works fine on the reasonably long cable run. However, I got greedy and added in a Technomate 4 way Diseqc switch ready to attach feeds from an adjacent dish. It seems like the extra attenuation now pushes NHK World (Wide beam, less error correction) over into moderate breakup with noticeable dip in signal quality bar on the receiver.

Any suggestions - either for a better switch or a newer LNB to compensate?

Thanks

Try one of the other ports first as I have found some switches have different losses across the internal circuitry

Otherwise a notch at the frequency of NHK, it is on other satellites
