I see the FA clearly wanted to make an example out of Blackburn with this but everybody could quite clearly see that the Newcastle player raised his hand to Pederson, so why should Blackburn be fined. Is this yet another case of the discrimination displayed by the southern based FA against teams they would prefer not to be in the Premier League.... sour grapes perhaps.... they certainly would not get away with such blatent bias against the bigger North Western Teams, and to be honest I doubt they would have addressed the problem at all if Sparky had not gone to Man City.
