With today's driver update (November 1st), Mutant HD51 boxes equipped with the Silabs tuners have finally the ability for hardware blindscan, what should have happened from day one!
It's odd that support is finally in place considering Mutant and Axas are now pushing for the new HiSilicon HD61 boxes, but better late than ever!
For the moment hardware blindscan in Enigma2 utilizes the DmmBlindscan plugin which is very poor in options but now that I can betatest I'll push developers for a better solution!
Screencaps to follow...

Just imagine something like the SF8008. The HiSilicon board is pretty standard at what it provides...

Two screencaps from blindscan...

Damn, the DMMblindscan plugin is sooooo basic and lacks so many features....

anywhere i can download DMM Blindscan from ? cant seem to find a .ipk file online

@MCelliotG sorry, just to go back to HD61 - what tuner does that use? Still Silabs (with stupid 0.25dB CNR increments)..?

Interesting that it has 2x CI slots...

To be fair I'm not sure, but since it's a hisilicon box (like SF8008) my bet is on Silabs.
BTW, this hardware blindscan that was enabled on HD51/H7 boxes is the worst I've ever seen. It's the same as Dreamboxes with Silabs tuners. Most of the problems arise from poor or insufficient coding. I wish I had the knowledge to enhance this part...

i noticed your post on another forum after i posted here, about how bad it is

HD61 looks remarkably similar to Zgemma H9 Twin with nearly identical specs. Those 7-segment displays though - srsly. Bring back VFD!

Looking further, HD61 doesn't do T2-MI 'natively', which is a bit annoying. Still the twin CI slot is appealing.
