Bob Holness dies aged 83

TV host Bob Holness died peacefully in his sleep early this morning. Although probably best known for hosting Blockbusters he was also an actor and was the second actor to play James Bond in a radio play adaptation of Moonraker in 1956.

RIP Bob, I'll take that P now please...

very sad news indeed, I grew up watching Blockbusters, and none of the other variants (BBC2, Sky One, heck, even the original US version) were a patch on Bob's Blockbusters, he just had something about him that made the show great...

He will be missed, but we can still watch him in his glory on Challenge (when they start playing Blockbusters during the day again)...
