Bought a Horizon usb sat meter

Hi all
just bought a secondhand horizon usb sat meter.
Can some kind soul me offer some advice.
Do I need to update the software as the horizon site is not very clear does that include the system software and then the satellite list.

can anybody tell me how to add more sat to my horizon hdsm usb meter.i tried to look at horizon site but it wasnt clear.

click on downloads then click on product download by the side of the correct meter.sellect the right place on map twice.
when you see the panel with all the sat`s listed in it on the left,highlight the one you want and click on the arrow to send to the right window.
do this for all the ones you want,then with your email and the name filled in the 2 top boxes click on generate.
they will send the file to you.unzip it and after connecting your meter to the pc click on the rad icon.
a small window will open and load the file into your meter.
