These are long gone , but I can build one .
Hi - It's an old thread but I'm in the same situation. I have a home-made bracket on my recently bought Fibo but it's off-centre. Would you be able to help with instructions/materials to make a proper replacement?

You should be able to slacken off the u bolt nuts and slide around to the correct position.

As you might see from the photo, it's off centre. One idea is to modify the right hand side bracket so it is the 'mirror image' of the left hand one bracket and use spacers to centre the part that clamps onto the stab mount. Altertively find the relevant part that Trust has used from a motek motor and cut off the sides and bolt them in a similar way to the current parts, again using spacers.

Maybe you can by drilling new holes for the U-bolts move the poleclamp to the centerline of the dish

Great idea but I'm not sure there's enough room to drill fresh hole, but maybe a smaller u clamp might do the trick. I'm thinking of trying to get hold of an old AZ-El mount and getting it welded to a steel plate with holes to mount to the dish.

As you might see from the photo, it's off centre.

When it is off centre, but still exactly parallel to what it should be, I see no big problem?

Not even for a motorized setup.
(Though the setting of motor and dish exactly in-line at zero degrees, is a bit more difficult, when you normally would do that with the equal-length checking of left and right side of the dish to the pole (or motor housing).)

If it is exactly parallel, all the motor- and aiming- angles stay the same.
It is a bit hard to see on the picture, though, if the left and right black dish brackets are exactly equal.

@actu_8 PM me if you are interested in getting this original Fibo bracket. It is used but in good condition.

Many thanks. I am very happy to receive this info. I wasn't sure if being off centre would skew the tracking of the arc, especially when a mate said it would. I'm pleased he's wrong. The left and right brackets are identical, thus causing the offset, which I would normally file under 'bad design'. As the motor is using another dish and is set up correctly, I can line up the middle of the clamp pictured to the centre of stab mount pole on and check for the best signal on 1w and take it from there.

Looking at another thread (Fibo 90 feedhorn and fixed Az/El mount), a near-identical version of the bracket is shown so I'm thinking it might be the after-market bracket from Satmeuller.

Thanks again.
