Bracket for T90

T90 Dish and Smart 60cm Dish @28.2E
Receivers:Dm800s,Dm600s,Dm500s,
Ferguson Ariva 120,Opticum x403p,Tm 500.

Just looking for some advice on what bracket would be suitable for mounting a T90 Toroidal dish.
I currently have a 1m motorised dish on a set of 24" T brackets held in place with M10 Rawl Bolts.

I plan to replace the 50cm pole on the brackets with a 60cm pole and mount the T90 on that .
Do people think that would be a wise decision and reliable ?
I do not want the dish collapsing and putting a hole in my roof :eek:
Alternatively I could put the dish on the back wall of the house and use this bracket

The T90 comes with a bracket, but If you haven't got a south facing wall it aint much good to you. IMHO 2 x T brackets aren't sufficient for the gibby, never mind a T-90 which is more than twice as heavy. If you upgrade to a KK bracket configuration you should be OK though.

I do have a south facing wall ,I have a fixed 60cm dish on it at 28e.
I put the Gib on the East facing wall to try and shelter it from the wind as I get alot of gales up the valley.
I could put the T90 on the south wall,lots of room but it means more drilling and removing more dash ,something the missus may not appreciate.O-no

The wall bracket for the T90 is sold seperately from what I can see,its 25 euro extra .
It looks fairly solid but it may be hard to get the pole on it plumb with the dashed wall.

My Gibertini is 7.1kg in weight and the motor is almost 4kg so thats 11kg in total.T90 is 14kg .

The T brackets are very solid but they do tend to bend a little when fully loaded,I cant really take a risk as the T90 is so heavy though.
 
This dish is a monster to mount on a pole, it's weight can get up to 16 kilos with a full compliment of LNB's (and other stuff), can the pole rest on the ground to take the weight off the mounts?

Due to the site layout its not very practical to have the pole rest on the ground .
I could mount the dish down low on the wall and have the pole rest on the ground but I'd rather have it up higher out of reach as my neighbours dogs are very destructive plus it wouldnt look very nice down low ,I know the wife will not allow that.
Back to the drawing board ...

Mine didn't come with a bracket so maybe it is just an optional accessory.

Anyway, I hung mine on a wall bracket made for a Famaval 1.4m PF dish. Footprint of the bracket is the same as the groundstand for the 2.4m PF dish, hole-centres 235mm apart. It feels rock solid and is plenty strong enough for a T90.

Brackets your Gibertini is mounted on are really good, I mean principle how it works, it allows to make vertical pipe really vertical. And verticality of that pipe is very important for tuning T90. Of course it is possible to tune T90 on not vertical pipe, but that can turn to big pain.
So, if you have some relative who works with metal stuff, than he could make similar brackets but only from more solid material.

Yes ,that is correct ,my cousin is a metal fabricator ,he is very good.
So you think I need stronger brackets ?
