SOCCER ace Bradley Wright-Phillips may be questioned by cops investigating the theft of mobile phones and cash from a nightclub.

Striker Wright-Phillips, 22 — on £10,000 a week at Southampton — and team-mate Nathan Dyer were caught on CCTV in a staff cloakroom.

They giggle while watching pals rifle through staff handbags.

Three mobiles, a wallet and £105 in cash vanished from Bar Bluu in Southsea, Hants, last week.

A source at the club said: “The CCTV is as clear as watching Match of the Day.”

Police said last night: “We are investigating. No arrests have been made.”

Was listening to Ian Wright on Talk Sport earlier and felt quite sorry for him as he publicly stated how ashamed he was that his son would be associated with this type of behaviour.

All credit to him, he made no excuses for his son and for that I respect him.

Two footballers who were arrested over allegations of theft at a Hampshire nightclub are bailed.

Championship club Southampton FC confirmed its striker Bradley Wright-Phillips and winger Nathan Dyer had been detained on Tuesday.

Hampshire Police said a man, 20 and man, 23, were bailed until 17 June at Portsmouth Central police station.

The arrests follow a probe after thefts at Bar Bluu in Southsea on 28 February, which were later reported on 5 March.
