I had not been subjected to Claras Holographic projection field programming ..
So WHY did she appear clothed to me ..
DOH!!!

Yes, I nearly missed the regeneration owing to my imagination running riot over the contents of a Tartan Mini-Skirt.

PVR failed on me yesterday but was fortunately able use iPlayer to catch, er, up.
A marvellous story which required a bit of thinking on behalf of the viewer. It has to be said that this is generally a characteristic of Steven Moffat compared to RTD. I know that some viewers do not like this but the diehard fans do.

The news that Matt Smith was actually the 13th Doctor had leaked out but I was hugely pleased by the cameo from Amy Pond.

The thought of the Holographic Frojection field also caused me to, er, lose the plot for a moment.

All in all, a worthy farewell to Matt Smith and welcome to Peter Capaldi.

Just watched it - I thought the regen scene was poorly done. Where was the traditional energy burst of some kind then the new bloke is revealed?

A jump cut between Matt & Peter demonstrates all that is wrong with Brit telly these days - dont dare stretch things out coz the audience might get bored.

Good to see Amy back though - shame she wasnt in her police outfit tho ;)
 
Turned it off, after seeing the doctor naked yet again, in yet another BBC CFNM scene, aimed at children.
The Doctor Who Christmas episode is the only thing I even consider viewing, on British television, due to the constant editing of films, and old television programmes, especially the Carry on Films, which were only rated PG in the 70's.
