Well been a steady 10 days if 20-24 so far up here in Liverpool. Actually too hot to stand on the flat roof , ( in me socks) supposed to be here for another week .

I hope that the dry season will stay for Wimbledon, from July 3rd to 16th. No rain please. (well, there is the roof, at least on two main courts).

CH has closed "Batten down the Hatches.." for this year and warned about this weekend - so don't make big plans for BBQs for Sat/Sun because, whilst it should be quite warm, the thunderstorms might put them out!!

Temps in the mid 20's centigrade here, for the last ten days or so. A hosepipe ban shall be imposed shortly... On the bright side my stash of seasoned peasants for next Winter is maturing nicely...

OTOH, I suppose a good dose of alcohol helps - so it probably pays keep them "well oiled" at mealtimes
