If you have BT broadband you can sign up to get BT Sports (& the sole version of ESPN that will remain) free via satellite. The will give you almost 40 Prem games for free.


It appears you have to sign up for another 12 month contract on your broadband.

The encrypted BT sports channels are showing test loops - both on the SD & the HD channels. although the content is the same.

O2 are migrating to Sky so i was switching anyway. Great news!

1 august well interesting 1 july is switch off ESPN America/HD in whole europe besides UK where i will watch again PTI or Around the hord now not uk version

I currently have a (Irish) sub with Sky Sports which is also giving me ESPN. I take it I will have to pay more if I want BT Sports, and it won't get bundled in the way ESPN is at the moment? cheers.

As far as I understand you wont get BT Sports at all - its not going to be available on Ireland subscriptions.

I wonder so does some other company (Setanta, etc) have the rights to show those PL games in Ireland ...
