Hello to all. Please excuse the "NewBoy" questions.
The "Other Half" is Bulgarian, and since we moved to ireland she has only got BTV which is FTA on Hotbird.
Checking the Lyngsat listings, i notice that all the Bulgarian Stations such as M-Sat etc, are scrambled in Conax. Does this mean that I have to buy a receiver with conax to view these channels, or suscribe directly to the companies???? If I remember correctly, the stations are at 1 West.
Confusing for me... And please excuse my complete ignorance of this subject. Your advice and knowledge would be appreciated.

Yes you will need an official card and a Conax CAM or Magic Module, there may be some second hand ones floating around shortly (Conax CAMs), as they no longer have the mass use that they did. So if you have a receiver with a CI slot, the above will suffice.

Not sure about dish size for these channels though, as they are on the Eastern Europe beam.
