Good reception will be possible at your location with an 80 cm dish.

We do not have privy to the broadcaster intentions as nothing is static in satellite broadcasting just enjoy what is free atm.
 
Let's hope the channels BNT4 HD, Evrocom HD and Kanal3 HD will stay FTA on 1.9°E.
On the other satellites these FTA channels are SD.
 
Also The Voice, Balkanika, Planeta and the rest of music channels.
 
Is anyone else in Ireland or the UK finding reception of this satellite a bit of a struggle? I was using an old Sky Zone 2 dish yesterday and I could only pick up two transponders from this position, only one of which has FTA broadcasts on it (12456 H). Indeed it also seemed extraordinarily "touchy" in that the slightest movement of the dish from the focus cut everything off, something more reminiscent of the mid-powered satellites like Eutelsat 36B or 10A for this dish size - even Eutelsat 3B next door seemed a touch more powerful. The footprint has myself lying on the edge of the 50dbW contour and the transmission parameters (8PSK with 2/3 FEC) don't suggest needing a quite high SNR level to decode, so I'm wondering if the footprint is weak out my direction or are some of the transponders actually on the Balkan beam rather than the European beam?

RTP and 1Channel Russia are FTA also on 1.9e

Yes, the footprint is weak.
On a Bulgarian forum some people complain about the same problem.
Here in Belgium every thin is fine.

I wish they would make Magic HD like the others on there, maybe showing my age a bit ha, but they seem to play a really good mix of songs that I didn’t hear for ages, and they swap them round too... best thing is you don’t get all the annoying adverts like most other UK versions. I think that channel is under rated.
 
works fine in South France,some TPat 80% others at 65%
