Bush Freesat HD Problem

Hi,

Hope somebody can help??

I have just upgraded from a standard Bush Freesat Box to a Bush Freesat HD box. Signal strength on the SD box was 91% and signal quality was pretty much the same (according to the bars on the info screen).

When I plug in the HD box there is no signal being detected at all?? Why is this??

I am using a Sky dish that was installed just over a year ago, for Sky+. I have taken the box to a friends house to see if it works there, on the same Sky setup, and it does (picking up 50% signal).

Any help and advice would be very much appreciated,

Welcome to the forum.

Make sure you have inserted the IF cable to the correct port on the receiver and all connections are sound. There have been some cases where some receivers do not like some LNb's (in the case of Bush receivers).

thanks for reply. Pretty sure the IF cable is in the correct port. I have a WNC LNB model No. FF8.

If it is the LNB what would be the best one to get?
