Having suffered in a recent storm here in Spain and having lost 2 Pace 2600s and part of a TV and also having an unsympathetic insurance company I need to ecconomise on my system. The TV which suffered damage works fine on Digital TV and HDMI and RGB inputs but not on the scart or AV sockets or composite input. Alas my replacement Pace boxes don't output a RGB or HDMI signal so I can't connect them up to the TV. On sleazebay I can get a Bush HD freesat box very cheaply and wondered if one of those would be OK for occasional non HD viewing. My Humax HD box works fine but I use that on my larger HD TV and they are a tad more expensive than either the Goodmans or the Bush. I get a pretty good signal on my aged Amstrad Sky box so was hoping one of these cheaper HD boxes might be OK for basic viewing on a pretty cheap LCD TV. Any views or experience in this area much welcomed.
