With the news that Flybe will be going bust this evening Im tracking what will be the last Flybe flight to land through Scottish & Lake District airspace on its way to London

G-PRPH will be the last one to land. Administration cant be declared whilst planes are flyingas the air operation certificates & presumably the insurance is declared void as soon as they enter administration

The aircraft impounds have already started - staff at Glasgow impounded one a couple of hours ago, Manchester is refusing flight clearance for anything already on the ground... G-PRPH is currently on final approach to Heathrow.

And 3 delayed flights just popped up!

Manchester - Belfast - definitely has passengers on it
Manchester - Edinburgh
Manchester - Aberdeen

No tracking on the 2 Flybes, but I got a visual on G-JECN on apparoach to Edinburgh. Itys a beautiful clear night here & I could see the lights flashing away at a range of about 15 miles as it headed north .

Well in a surprising twist Flybe will be operating again from mid April!

Flybe to resume flights and operations in April

The carrier, which collapsed two years ago, is now based in Birmingham and will operate 23 routes.
