C-band Channels

hi there,is it possible to get c-band channels from satellite 68.0 degrees east.i have tried and caught a few ku band channels from this satellite.i have a c-band lnb could someone please tell me what to do.thanx

Which part of the world are you in? what is the size of your dish?

Let me know Were in the hell world are u in, and your dish size , and what kind of dish.

sorry for the delay in replying,im in west yorkshire in u.k.and im using an 80cm dish.

You wont get any c-band on an 80cm m8.

You wil need a 1.8m prime focus and above for best results.

DUDE You wont get C-Band channel on 80cm dish, You need a big one, and that depend up on your sats even .

Buddy if you are buying a new one go it for 8 to 14 ft , And about your question that depends up on which satellites you need to watch, If they fall in your area, you can grab it.

I can get hte c-band channels on pas 68.5 (multichoice) on my 1.8m prime focus with c-band LNB-F but that is just about pulling them in to be safe you would need a 2.0m,

Also no point in useing a offset as 99.9% of c-band feedhorn and c-band LNB-F'S are for prime focus dishes

No as the all have ku-band linear feedhorns and you would need a c-band linear or circular feedhorn depending if the satellite you wanted is linear or circular polarity
