First of all very sorry if i have put in wrong section, please feel free to move thank you.

Q: if you got a c line from a payserver with no re-share enabled, what would stop you from passing the the c line onto friends to use.
they would log on with all same details meaning multi log on as you can do on other web sites without problems.

would they have a password detector say in the config that blocks multi logons with same details or would they not know.

Therws nothing to stop you passing it on. However seeing as only one instance of a c-line can be active at any one time if your friend is using it then it wont work for you!

If the scumbag, money pinching, card blagging, low life, card server host had half a brain he would add an IP check to the F line so that it checks to see if the incoming connection is coming from the expected IP. If not it kicks you out.

Scozzy as you have probably realised most of the old hands think pay servers are run by scum sucking leeches. Whilst you have every right to buy into one be aware of the following:

1) its not unknown for them to be a flybynight operation & disappear a few days after a payment is taken

2) if the site gets busted the security goons will go straight for the server logs & your ip address is in that log. If the police come knocking you will have some very awkward questions to answer, and you wont get any sympathy whatsoever on this forum

3) you have no idea who is behind the operation - could be the Russian mafia, drugs runners, or even one of the pay tv operators running a sting operation. Again if the police come knocking you are on your own.

4) Some of the pay tv operators are implementing anti card share measures, and if your favourite operator goes black due to encryption countermeasures you wont get your money back.

With the above in mind, what precautions can you make against sharing with a payserver unknowingly.
ie if you go down the path of sharing with someone on a forum is there any tell tale signs? I'm guessing it would be high ecm's from a given user, am I correct?
