c120 lnb for nilesat on a prime focus satellite dish

garbitini1.3cmdish motorised, lnb thecnomate 0.1 quad
2.2 percision dish, c120 quad lnb ,
dream box 800 hd, manhtan plaza 550,
technomate 5200 super,channel master 1.2 c120 quad inverto lnb
maxx1000,
irte 1.5 dish spare

hi to all i need some advice i am looking for new c 120 lnb for my 2.2 m dish prime focus
i got quad invicom now i need other one have to be good with good weather now head
i need to try some test in nilesat h chanel now i get some of them with c120 invecom

theres only really the inverto c120 or you could try and find a professional grade SMW or norsat second hand but there are very expensive. i know the general rule is with a large dish that a matched feedhorn is best but you could try a inverto black ultra if it will fit and if its no good its not a big loss as you can pick them up for around a tenner, regards mdt

Stick with the matched Precision feed, there is no chance an integral feed LNB is going to fit to the dish, much less work..
 
how good this lnb are Twin Universal C120 LNB designed for prime focus dishes. Low noise figure: 0.2dB
before i order one of this i need some advice

Post a picture or two of the front of your 2.2m dish, and then the forum can advise on suitability.
 
yes already i got invecom quad lnd on nilesat i get all vertical and some horizontal from 101/102
i want to enprove signal
but i will post some photo later

A couple of questions;

What exactly are you hoping to receive from Nilesat that you can't currently get? Have you tried without the camouflage net?

If it's a transponder from Nilesat 201, I think you'll struggle even with such a large dish. Other members will comment about the netting and if it will be a problem but when dealing with fringe reception the slightest obstruction can cause problems.

Incidentally I can pick up AD Sports with occasional drop outs on my 1M Gibertini, however I'm significantly further south than you.

what i want is improve signal i already tryed with out camouflage net is same signal that net is to hid the dish only

Only way for more signal is a bigger dish.

Have you tried other c120 lnbs invacom etc.

Also is the feed on the dish adjustable, try tweaking this.
 
inverto pro twin c120 any good before i spend more money on lnb
dish is set spot on i got now quad ivecom i want to try different c120 lnb like inverto
 
i orderd today inverto pro twin c 120 then i give it try
 
i recieved my new c120 invertotwin pro lnb i change lnb now i think inverto pro is out perform my old quad invecom lnb signal gone from 92 to 94 and quality from 53 to 57 on horizontal on nilesat now at 15.30 pm i will check it again tonight if sky is clear and i post some photo later
 
Hi , i also have a primefocus dish (140) and recieve Nillesat in Holland near Amsterdam whit azbox premium + with invacom shf c 120 (old twin lnb) and wanna do the same. I found that the invacom quad lnb olso better is than the old one.

Maybe i have an option but not try yet. I wanna test STARGOLD FUJI Universal Prime Focus Twin LNB SG-920 but i also read it only working on thaicom global beam in some forum. Strange because the specs working from 10.7-12750.

If you google for it wanna try and replace the scalar ring for the fuji lnb.:)
