no i dont have cable digi, apperently ntl does not supply cable in my area, i brought this box with me when i moved from another town. but there is cable line in the outside the house, but if there is no supply it is no good then is it??

If you have a cable feed to your house, plug it in and try it.

There's no guarantee that the other end of the cable is connected, but unless you try, you will never know.
