I am sorry to ask this, maybe it is a very stupid question, but very simple. I can not find answer for this anywhere.

There is a PCMCIA slot within the design of the Digiboxes, (usually covered up at the rear), in order to comply with legal issues regarding fair play for broadcaters in Europe. The boxes presently on the market do not however recognise anything thats inserted into the slot, and will not therefore decode anything except limited FTA channels and those in Videoguard
The firmware that is supplied over the air has not as yet upgraded the boxes to function as a VG embedded machine with additional CI capability, and reports abound that the hardware is not actually capable of being activated by any means in the future.
