Hi there i have a PHOENIX Apollo receiver im looking at the astra and hotbird satellite using a dual lnb, i have viaccess patch embedded on my receiver. Ok what im wondering is the dragon cam the best one for me to buy? and once i get it how do i updated the latest information onto it do i have to do it via my pc ? ive seen a Dragon CAM version 4.10 with twin card reader. Includes Dragon Loader card is this all the hardware ill need?

you will also need a card programmer capable of loading your Fun Card 7 or PIC loader card, or a CAS 3, which is slightly more complicated to use. If you haven't already got a suitable card programmer factor this cost into your expenditure.
The Dragon Cam has regular firmware updates, called Predator, and you can also manually update keys using your receiver and remote.
The Dragon Cam has received excellent support so far, and the 4.1 version has a SIM slot for the 2 mature content channels INXTC and XPLUS, on Hotbird with a 9 month subscription, included in the price.
Before deciding on a purchase I'd check, with other owners of your receiver, if there are any compatibility issues, otherwise it is a very good Cam.
