CAM newbie in need of help!

My Satellite Setup
I am thinking of buying a satellite so I need your advice please.

So, I've just bought a satellite and receiver and there are a fair few number of channels that are scrambled. After reading about the T-Rex/Dragon Cam, I have been thinking about purchasing it. However, I am a complete novice with these things so I have a few questions to ask:
1. Will I have to buy a loader in order to put the CAM into my receiver?
2. Will I have to install anything onto the CAM or Loader or do I just put them in and the channels are unscrambled?
3. Do the CAMs work in a freeview box?
4. Are CAMs worth the money? e.g. Which quality channels will I receive?

Welcome to Satellites UK. Best advise I can give you is to search and read threads that correspond to your STB (receiver) before doing anything regarding programming etc.

A popular CAM is the Diablo Light depending on what you aim to view.
 
Thanks I have found a post regarding the Diablo and Cas 3. I am aiming to watch football in the UK
 
I don't think any cam will clear the UK football.
Read other postings and you will see it's or Scandinavian or East Europe channels that are cleared.
For a few days the German Premiere is still cleared.
 
I take it you have not tried tuning in to Thor then?
