According to Lyngsat the radio station NRJ Finland is on 12645V, SR 256, FEC 1/2 on the Europe beam on Astra 4A (5E). Just curious if anyone has managed to lock on to it with such a low symbol rate and if so, what equipment have you used? Most domestic receivers won't go down that low.

My Amiko Alien 3 will let me put in the parameters but I get no lock. My other receivers won't even touch that SR

Thanks for trying. Did you try a few MHz either side? Presumably with such a low SR if the LNB frequency is slightly out it could miss the transmission.

I've read that some PC cards may pick up low SR transmissions.

Of course it may not even be transmitting any more...

Tried with my TBS5925 but no luck. The TBS5925 is supposed to receive down to SR's as low as 200, but the lowest i've managed to lock with it are the radio stations on 16E using an SR of 334

I did try either side but nothing, just won't lock it.

If it's active, this is not a European beam, Nordic for sure.
I lock the Nordic DATA frequencies but not this one.

I´ve had a better look this morning and it turns out the Xtrend was lying to me! When switching to 12645 V it was still showing the values for the adjacent predefined transponder in the list. Manually entering the data or stepping quickly through the list before the box could lock on adjacent signals gives me a zero reading.
Note to self, don´t do a quick scan in the ad break while the wife wants to watch something!

Nordic beam would make more sense considering I'm guessing it's only for distributing NRJ to FM transmitters within Finland (or maybe just a backup feed).
