I am very close to buy an dreambox 5620 and I wonder if it has the option to insert keys manual with the remote control?

No you enter keys via ftp into folders in the dream box. You can also download K*ys auto via the control panel with the remote but you must have an internet connection with your dreambox.

Its not like the old days on D2mac where you typed in a single key.
The key files have multiple entries and they are different for each softcam. The files have to be edited with a Unix compatible editor and so far, no one, afak, has set one up to work off the remote. It probably could be done. e.g. It is possible to edit the file that contains the list of all recorded movies by using the remote like mobile texting. The file names themselves dont change, just the displayed name which comes from inside a file. So it could be done on a file of keys, but at the mo, you have edit the files on a PC or Mac before reloading. This is true of 7000 also.

The remote is an essential part of this kit - you can't work without one.

OK - so I'm wrong - you can use the virtual remote if you use the web browser function.

Yes I tried it and it causes havoc. Could be the dodgy web interface, upgraded in Hydra_Zeus.
 
look for tuxcom plugin.
it will let you execute all linux commands with the remote,including editing key files.
learn well how to use it,be safe.
