can not update bouquets

I must be doing something wrong somewhere, i have installed Darkstar II but i can not add any bouquets, i edit them in Dreamboxedit and load them to the box and i can not see them. i only see the original ones for some reason? I do however see the channels i scanned in when it 1st started.

i have the directories as follows.
services and bouquets files - /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/
satellites.xml - /var/etc/

is this correct and what am i doing wrong?
i always restart the box after update and it is a 500s clone box

On my DM600 with Darkstar II installed, the directories are as follows.......

Services and bouquets files = /etc/enigma/
User bouquets files = /etc/enigma/
Satellites.xml = /etc/tuxbox/

No need to restart the box, just click 'Reload Settings' after the transfer is complete.

EDIT: I've just noticed that /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/ is a symlink to /etc/enigma/. So that is not the problem.

Try clicking 'Reload Settings', I've noticed that this worked for me at times when a reboot failed to change anything.

i tried creating a directory of /etc/enigma and it will not let me, comes up with read-only file system.

There is no need to create it, it should already exist.

Have you tried transferring then clicking 'Reload Settings'?

Maybe the DM500 directory layout is different to that of the DM600.

Hopefully someone with a DM500 loaded with Darkstar II can confirm.

lol, cant believe that all it was in the end, that button. I have never needed to use it on my DM8000 as i just normally restart enigma2
