- My Satellite Setup
-
Sky Q Windows 10
I have a 1.2M motorised dish but I have trees in the way stopping me being able to put this to use
- My Location
- England
From Dishpointer
Satellite location 0°
Elevation: 28.9°
Azimuth (true): 177.4°
Azimuth (magn.): 179.4°
LNB Skew [?]: -1.6°
Turn counter-clockwise standing behind the dish
Magnetic Variation 1.81° W on 1st June 2015
Instructions on the motor instructions
My Latitude Elevation Angle Declination Angle Dish Bracket Angle
53° 37° 7.6° 27.4° (dishpointer says 28.9°)
What I "THINK" I need to set is the following
Point dish Due south - Azimuth (true): 177.4° Azimuth (magn.): 179.4° 3154 mils on military compass
Dish elevation is 28.9°
Motor elevation angle 37°
LNB Skew [?]: -1.6° Turn counter-clockwise standing behind the dish
IF the above is correct...
Do I set the lnb skew as advised or is this only for a fixed dish and I should set the lnb 0° offset?
