Canal Digitaal card in Technosat 1500

Hi, I have a genuine legal Canal digitaal (Dutch) card which I have just tried in my new 1500 but it does'nt work. I have been told I need a Matrix cam which I believed untill I just read Wizzz's write up on the 1500 which says that the ci slot will take just about all cards. Ok so I am a newby so maybe I am missing something here. Do I have to register the card for each receiver?. Perhaps someone will be kind enough to enlighten me please. Thanking you for your interest. Panic over, I just put the card in "upside down" & it works fine. Why do you think I was told that I need a Matrix cam?. Sugestions please. Ed
 
Depends who told you. The shop that sold you the 1500? ;)
